She has been experiencing restlessness and inability to sit in one place for long. What can be the future course of action. Should a neurologist also be consulted

Please tell this to the treating psychiatrist. Your mom might need a change in medicines. She should be alright with the change.

Dear Sir It seems that she is suffering from one of the side effect of medication possibly arip.it's termed as akathisia and the patient complains of extreme restlessness and inablity to sit at one place. Please see a psychiatrist as this can be easily treated. Thanks Regards Dr Ankita Mishra

Seems like she is having akethesia which is side effect of arip mt, although detail discussion and evaluation needed to confirm the exact cause behind it. Neurologist doesn't have any role in such case.
Next Steps
Consult a psychiatrist nearby or online so that thorough evaluation is done and accordingly treatment can be suggested.
