Report for cml
My father was diagnosed with cml due to high tlc. Upon doctors recommendation some test were conducted whose reports are attached alongwith to o start the treatment. Doctors appointment is scheduled for tomorrow. Kindly help and tell whether is there anything serious and what stage is this? Can this be cured?
Hi , your father BMA is probably suggestive of CML. It can be confirmed with BCR ABL report.once it is confirmed your father has to take tablets regularly. Also need to follow up with adequate testing which means testing for BCR ABL report at 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months in first year. From 2nd year annual testing of the same is sufficient.

CML is diagnosed when u have BCR ABL positive report. The bone marrow report is one of the investigation in the evaluation part. The bone marrow shows less blast so it’s good prognosis.
if the diagnosis is CML, then usually patient have good prognosis if managed well . It needs regular follow with medicine and testing ..
medicine is usually in tablet form only
