Are there seperate usg to confirm pregnancy or a simple trabsabdomen lower abdomen usg can tell whether pregnant or not

For confirming pregnancy, beta hcg can be done. Very early pregnancy can be missed on transabdominal scan, transvaginal USG are better

Trans-abdomen scan, if it covers uterus ( pelvic organs) too will tell about pregnancy. However as per rules these days, pregnancy USG requires separate prescription and separate report is given.
