Regarding Pregnancy diabetes query

I'm 7th month pregnant. In glucose test I got 88 -fasting, 195- first hr , 162 - 2nd hr reports. After 3 days by having metformin 500 mg twice a day I got 90 - fasting and 98 after breakfast. Is it necessary to continue to have metformin 500mg twice a day. After consuming that tablet complete weakness and headache is there.
