My mother is 47 yr old. She underwent menopause 1.5 year ago. Now she is getting periods with heavy bleeding. Please suggest me is this serious

Yes. It is serious. It is known as postmenopausal bleeding. It needs complete evaluation and a few investigations. Please consult with a Gynaecologist in your area for a physical examination and further management
