Regarding Dental Fillings

A piece of lower molar broke and now foods are getting stucked causing discomfort. Kindly find the attached image of x-ray and please advice whether RCT is compulsory as the cavity haven't touched the root yet. Is it ok to proceed further with cleaning and fillings without RCT.

Hello. The image indicates that the cavity is very deep and has almost touched the tooth nerves. It will mostly require RCT followed by crown (cap). The final treatment plan can be decided by clinically examining the tooth.

The concerned tooth had exposed pulp. You will for sure need rct followed by crown. Get the wisdom tooth removed in near future( not urgent). Hope it helps

Hello. .. I saw your query and the picture attached.. Caries is in proximal side and also near pulp.. I would suggest root canal treatment and crown.. Evn if filling is done, it may dislodge soon.. Thank you..

Hi, It’s always better to clinically examine the tooth before proceeding to any treatment. Although going by this Xray, it looks like the cavity has reached nerves and most likely to go for root canal. Visit your dentist and get the root canal done with the crown for better prognosis.

X ray shows the cavity is deep and appears to be touching the nerve The x ray evidence suggests you may need endodontic treatment and its not something to be overly alarmed about.
