Receding gums

Hi my dentist wants to do a deep cleaning on my teeth but it’s gonna cost me 1000 dollars and I cannot afford that what should i do for my receding gums?

try another dentist...if he is charging more, u can explore other dentist...till dat time brush properly...avoid eating in between ...floss properly..apply gumpaint an massage ur gums...use mouthwash 3 times a day if bleeding is dere u can take doxycyclin...but only under doctors prescription

Well there is no alternative to this treatment if the gums are receding. You can try to contact your insurance provider for the breakup of the fees. But gum recession is an ongoing process and more or less an Irreversible process..... so the sooner you get the cleaning done, the better. Regards.
