Receding gums are due to plaque and tartar deposits. You need thorough gum cleaning to avoid further recession of gums.

Some times if lower Anteriors teeth are slightly proclined ( little forwardly placed) than bone surrounding them too is thin from outside...So wrong brushing will cause early gingival recession problem...Check the cause i.e is it because of calculus , wrong brushing, malallined teeth ,tongue pressure,.
