A healthy early pregnancy usually shows hCG roughly doubling every 48 to 72 hours, so a steady rise so far is reassuring. Still, hCG trends alone cannot tell you where the pregnancy is located. Both a normal pregnancy and an ectopic one can show a climbing hCG level this early.
Next Steps
Book a transvaginal ultrasound with your gynaecologist once your hCG crosses around 1500 to 2000 mIU/mL, the level where a pregnancy sac becomes visible. That scan is the only way to confirm it's inside your uterus.
Health Tips
Go to the emergency room right away if you develop one sided pelvic pain, dizziness, or bleeding, since those can point to an ectopic pregnancy.
