My orthodontic doctor told me to keep the elastic on my finger during eating. But i keep them in a pot during eating because I feel more comfortable . Why did my doctor told me to wear elastic on my finger? What should I do?

It is better for you to keep the elastics away while having meals..Keep them near to you that is why it has been told to you to wear them on fingers so that you do not loose them..
