Namastey Thank you for sharing your concern. After Ksharsutra therapy, it is not uncommon for the treated tract and surrounding tissues to continue healing for a considerable period of time, depending on the size, depth, complexity, and location of the original condition. Mild discharge may persist during the healing phase as the tract gradually closes and healthy tissue forms. However, the duration of healing can vary significantly from person to person. While many patients experience substantial healing within a few weeks to months, some complex cases may require a longer period for complete tissue remodeling and recovery. The presence of a small amount of discharge alone does not necessarily indicate a problem, but the color, quantity, associated pain, swelling, or other symptoms should always be assessed in the context of the overall healing process.
Next Steps
Since you are continuing to experience a light green discharge after thread removal, it would be advisable to remain in regular follow-up with your treating physician and keep them informed of any changes in the nature of the discharge or your symptoms. A detailed clinical assessment can help determine whether the healing is progressing as expected and whether the discharge is part of the normal recovery process. If you would like a second opinion or personalized guidance regarding your recovery after Ksharsutra treatment, you may contact us at 9 3 1 5 6 6 1 5 6 5 . Health Tips
During the recovery period, maintain good local hygiene and carefully follow the post-procedure instructions provided by your treating doctor. Adequate hydration, a balanced diet, regular bowel habits, and avoiding activities that may place excessive strain on the affected area can support the healing process. It is also important to monitor for any significant increase in discharge, worsening discomfort, swelling, or other changes and report them promptly to your healthcare provider. Patience and consistent follow-up are often essential components of successful long-term healing after Ksharsutra therapy. Thank you

Ksharsutra is a highly effective procedure but it needs regular followup until the healing is completed. Light green discharge after a ksharsutra procedure often signals that requires immediate medical attention. While thin, yellowish, or slightly bloody fluid (serosanguinous discharge) is normal during the healing process as "unhealthy" tissue clears out, green pus is typically abnormal.
Next Steps
you can go back to your concerned doctor or you can ask me for a second opinion but it's possible through online consultation or you can visit nearby any other doctor
Health Tips
Sitz Baths: Soak in warm water for 10–15 minutes twice daily (often with Triphala Guggulu or Panchvalkal Kwath) to help drain pus and keep the area clean. maintain hygiene: Gently pat the area dry after baths and change your dressing every morning and evening.Dietary Support: Stick to a high-fiber diet and stay hydrated to ensure soft stools, as straining can worsen the area.
