Hello As per your X ray picture that I can see pulp is exposed to the infection So I would suggest you for Root canal treatment and pulpectomy can only be done when pulp is not exaposed to the infection

Since you have already experienced pain in the tooth  while chewing , rct would be better anyday . Sometimes excavation and evaluation can be performed but in your case a clinical evaluation is also required so kindly visit your nearby dentist and get the treatment started . I will suggest you to go for the RCT  in order to keep the tooth safe in coming time .
