Problem in breathing and acidity

I have been suffering from shortness of breath and acidity since 1 week. Consulted a doctor who advised medicine as Ranitidine, diclofenac and Ciprofloxacin. I find relief with Medicine but symptoms return soon. Should I continue the Medicine? How long? Do I need to get some tests done?

if it is longstanding then allergies need to be ruled out.get allergy tested.
