Hi
I can understand how difficult it is to stand in front in a room full of random people and speak about something. You don't feel comfortable being the center of attention and would prefer being a back bencher and there is nothing wrong about that. However, at work you need to be confident and forthcoming. But that can happen when you stop worrying about what would others think of you and pay more attention on how do you want to present. Do not put unnecessary pressure on yourself before the presentation by think you must perform well. Take deep breathes, practice well, understand your topic thoroughly and present like how you would explain your family or a friend. And remember to always put a smile on your face. This helps to internally motivate yourself and feel relaxed. If your problem still persists then get in touch with a counselor so that you can practice some more techniques and work on your confidence.
