Pregnant with high BP 38 weeks

Hello Doctors, My wife is 38 weeks pregnant with high BP ranging 90/140 her gynac has suggested to go for c section for a safe process, but we are interested for normal delivery what we should do please suggest and her family history also have history of high BP. Thanks a lot.

GO WITH YOUR GYNE SINCE HIGH BP IS NOT SAFE FOR YOUR PATIENT NAD FETUS , THIS MIGHT ALSO SHOOT UP DURING YOUR LABOUR IF WENT FOR NVD SO BETTER TO BE ON SAFE

There are indications for C section like from maternal and baby's point of view..no one can guarantee u a normal delivery...yes.. as mentioned 140/90 is NOT an absolute indication for C section..normal delivery is possible provided both mother n baby are doing good before and during the delivery process...
