Hi I am 9 months pregnant and today I checked my fasting sugar level through rapid glucometer after I realised that the test strips was expired on june 2026 I am scared that the strip touch my blood directly coming from skin finger will it affect my baby inside because of the strip

A glucometer strip only samples a drop of blood from your fingertip and doesn't come into contact with your baby in any way. An expired strip mainly risks an inaccurate reading, not harm.
Next Steps
If you're unsure of the reading, simply repeat the test with a fresh strip or check with your obstetrician at your next visit.
