If you have not had any Obstetric mishaps in previous pregnancy (like abortion or bleeding during pregnancy or preterm labour) then a gentle sexual intercourse is safe during any time. If you have had any mishaps during  during previous pregnancies then you should avoid sexual intercourse during the first three months and after the completion of seventh month.

Avoid in 1st trimester. Avoid if u have low lying placenta or any other complication. After delivery there is no fixed time for getting periods. It depends on whether you're breast feeding or not or how frequently u are feeding.

First 3 months of pregnancy. .

Avoid coitus in first trimester... Second trimester is honey moon time and can have coitus provided u don't have any low lying placenta or any other pregnancy complications..... After delivery u can have coitus after 8 weeks post delivery...
