Pregnancy allylestronol.. please help

I'm 16 weeks pregnant and taking allylestronol ie maintaine tablet... my doctor asks me to continue till 8 month and other doctor asked me to stop the tablet could you plz suggest till how many weeks of pregnancy can I take this tablet.. thank you

As your age is 34 years it's better if you continue till 32 weeks.....it will be helpful....anyways it's not having any side effects

Hi from your question it is not quite clear why it was started in first place. Generally it is given in the case of recurrent miscarriage or preterm delivery.

This is used for recurrent threatened miscarriage or preterm labour if you are having  bleeding,pain in abdomen or proven progesterone deficiency . Otherwise it is not recommended

It can be taken till different gestation in different conditions.so go as per your doctors advice.you can ask about the reason and effect of continuing the medication
