Hlo dr, I have brought this practin syrup in September 2025 and its expiry is 2027 and I have kept this syrup in good form but in a cupboard type closed all time.. do this extreme heat as Kolkata  temperature is nowadays will spoil the syrup or it is safe to use.. plz confirm???

Hi, Practin syrup should ideally be stored below 25-30°C. If your cupboard stays reasonably cool and away from direct sunlight, it should be fine. However, in extreme Kolkata heat without AC, temperatures inside can exceed safe storage limits and may affect the syrup's potency over time. Before using, check for any change in colour, consistency, or smell. If it looks and smells normal, it should be safe to use.

If you open bottle before in 2025 then need to buy new syrup It may or may not be damage, as it kept as it is If change in syrup colour or have some odd smell or cloudy syrup then don’t used it

Practin syrup is stable and should still be safe if kept in a closed cupboard away from direct heat and moisture As long as it looks and smells normal, it’s usually fine till expiry.
