Just maintain hygiene over the sutures as well Take a sterile cotton dipped in betadine and clean the area until suture removal You will get a scar in the area but healing will be no problem

Hi mam. Your doctor would have prescribed pain killer. So please take it on time to avoid pain. You will have discomfort for a week as sutures will cause a tightening pulling sensation. Don't worry about scarring as lips will heal normally. Keep the sutured area neat and clean. Avoid hot and spicy foods for 3 days
