Post hook up confusion

2018-07-09 08:07:12
I hooked up for the first time with a stranger. I didn’t know what was happening and I couldn’t stop him because I could not get myself to move. When he put his hands down my pants I freaked out and felt helpless and tried to say no but nothing came out of my mouth. My friend finally pulled me away and I had a panic attack (hyperventilating) for a straight 45 min until I finally caught my breathe. Now I am feeling a detached from reality and have no appetite. I feel like something is wrong.

It is absolutely normal to experience what you are experiencing because of the traumatic event that you went through. You need to let go off the thought and emotions associated with the event. Try not to stay alone, if are alone you will think more about the incidence. Try to spend time with family and friends. If you still feel that you are unavailable to cope up then consult a Clinical Psychologist who would help you through this phase.
Next Steps
Consult a Clinical Psychologist.
