Post covid heart precaution & medication

2021-05-19 17:40:46
Hi ! I had tested covid positive on 4th May and took antibiotics after consultation for five days. Currently I am having dry cough from last two weeks. Want to know about post covid precaution especially related with heart. 1- Shall we do some blood test like CBC, CRP & D Dimer ( Had earlier had these tests after two days of testing covid positive and reports were normal ) & 2- Shall we take some blood thinner tabs as in few known cases after recovering from covid people got sudden heart attack without any symptoms which proved fatal. Please advise. Thanks

You can get your d-dimer ,Cbc, crp retested. if they are abnormal then consult doctor for starting blood thinners. CBC and crp, they will give idea about infection status of the body. And if there is need for further treatment. Dry cough may take some time. Meanwhile take vitamins to boost immunity.
