Polycystic kidney disease causes kidneys to fail gradually, increase in size of kidneys, infection in the cysts, kidney failure, can cause decrease in appetite. As the kidney starts functioning at the lower level some of the tablets have to be stopped. Kidney function tests are not mentioned.
