Hello Doctor My husband had pleural effusion in right lung...done with all the test of TB but few tests are in favour and few are against tb...What is the cause of pleural effusion?? Doctor started ATT...my husband is having severe weakness...Is it a side effect of ATT? Please help

Hello, most common cause of pleural effusion is tuberculosis. You need to complete the entire course of tb . There are side effects due to att , which can be handled. You need to consult Pulmonologist for detailed understanding.

As,he is already using Att,pl continue full course of Att.There will be side effects of Att.pl give him high Nutritous dietand protein diet.pl consult pulmonologist with detailed history and reports and treatment taken for better evaluation and treatment.
