My father have platelet count 24 and vit B12 50, as per tests taken on gone monday, current week. Yesterday evening his covid tested positive. Request your valuable advice on - CAN WE START WITH HIS NORMAL COVID TREATMENT, WITH LOW LEVELS OF PLATELET COUNT 24. He has no bleeding till date.

Platelet count is 24 or 2.4 lacs ? I can't visualize any one having Platelet count of 24. If it is really 24 please get him admitted to a hospital where they have a Blood Bank and they can provide Blood Component therapy. They will decide whether to give Covid treatment or not.
