My mother has been having a cough for 1 month. She has COPD. Antibiotics taken, doctors prescription attached. Her condition is better comparatively, with no breathlessness, no fever, and no fatigue. Need further advice.

Hi The recent admission was an exacerbation episode of an airway disease The nebulisation would have helped in reducing the symptoms
Next Steps
Once stable its better to get a pulmonary function test to assess lung function and capacity. Based on the test results she would be advised inhalers or rotacaps. If the trigger is allergic kindly get an igE and absolute eosinophil count blood tests done
Health Tips
Kindly continue breathing exercises and pulmonary rehabilitation program and dietary modifications.
