There is no mathematical definition of a normal period . It is all comparative, compared with your previous periods. Apart from the duration it is the number of pads per day which is also significant. A scanty period usually means a low level of Oestrogen. However if a woman gets normal periods (by the periodicity) then it means that she is ovulating.

Bleeding for 2 to 3 days during period is perfectly normal Amount and duration of bleeding during periods does not affect your ability to conceive There is nothing called scanty periods There is no medicine to increase the flow of blood during periods If there is a change in pattern of bleeding during periods the only pathological reason could be hypothyroidism or being overweight Strt exercising and get your thyroid levels checked
