Perianal absecess

I have pain at below scrotum to middle of the rectum. Some swelling is observed around the area. I went for general surgeon he said surgery is best option, after discussion he prescribed me some. Medicines for 5 days. Please suggest it is not cured for medicine surgery is necessary.

If it’s a perianal abscess as diagnosed by the surgeon you consulted,no medications are going to help.immediate incision and drainage required.Dont wait till the abscess gets drained by itself(bursted) and forms a perianal fistula.,which is a frustrating condition that in turn requires multiple surgeries.

It is perineal abscess require Incision and drainage pus under general Anesthesia with Antibiotics and analgesic and require daily dressing still it heal

I strongly suggest you undergo the surgery tht is an incision and drainage of the abcess No medications will be helpful if it is an abcess until it is drained Visit a general surgeon asap

Locally apply fusidic acid cream four times daily at the affected area. Tab Chymoral plus : one tab twice daily for 4 days Tab Pan 40 : one tab once daily for 4 days Continue clavum and metrogyl as per prescription

Hi. As per your history, it's perineal abscess exteded/crossed perineal body.. best thing to see the hardness.. if u feel it soft compressible, it need urgent surgery to prevent extension and early cure.. if hard , have to start antibiotics + analgesic + special dressing. U can consult me for same.

Hi It's very painful condition It's better to get it drain outside by small operation, otherwise it might open inside anal canal leading to fistula formation , which is a bad thing for patient and surgeon.
