Perforated Eardrum

I have perforated eardrum in left ear since three years as I had middle ear infection. Doctor suggested tymphanoplasty surgery, but I'm looking for endoscopy procedure instead of incision on ear backside. Please let me know if endoscopy procedure available in Hyderabad. Thank you for considering my request.

Funnily enough, your fears are unfounded! Most modern ENT Surgeons make the incision make the incision just 2mm beyond the postaural gutter, which has better cosmesis when compared to an endaural incision, and is practically invisible! The postaural incision has many advantages, in that the tympanic membrane graft tissue can be harvested from the temporalis fascia through the same incision. The endoscopic procedures are done only for limited minimal surgeries and are fraught with complications and best avoided!
