I already have bilateral pcod (as per Feb18 scan)and fattyliver grade 2 and insulin resistance..My BMI is 39.9..Period was regular still last 6 months..Now period started on May07,at first it was dark black like blood (only spotting)then an average flow from day 3-7,then again brown spotting until now (May 31)Actually there was not a single heavy bleeding day..Normally i have 2-4 days heavy bleeding then average and then spotting..Why is it so?Iam abroad and as my visa is not confirmed i cannot afford a doctor consultation..Is it merely pcod?Or is it mandatory to consult and do further test? And we are also trying to conceive..Already done pregnancy card test many times and it was negative

Pcos only required Lifestyle modification To keep the hormonal disbalance consequent to pcos at bay u need to exercise and reduce weight PCos may  result in  delayed periods or scanty periods but never prolonged bleeding You need an urgent ultrasound to find out the reason for this abnormal pattern of bleeding and treatment can be offered accordingly

In PCOD, prolonged  bleeding  expected, but now it's  more than 3 weeks to you.Better get examined  as you are  also planning  for pregnancy.
