Pcod and Prolonged Bleeding,spotting

I have PCOD , My LMP was on 2 april This month on 29 ,30 i had spot On 1st I had my periods till today I am bleeding .Normally i faced bleeding till 3rd day This month I am continuously bleeding till today which I consider 4th or 5th not sure My doc prescribed ProCare for 6 months Today is 4th/5th day of my cycle Can i take from today and what is benefit of this medicine.?

You can consider 29 th April  as first  day, bleeding  upto 7 days is normal. Write clearly  the medicine name and content, because  there are around  3 different  medicines on that name.
