Patella tilting, Joint effusion

I am a swimmer and I train everyday. One day my knee started to hurt when we were jogging. My coach told me to put ice on it but after 1 wk it still hurts so I went to the doctor and told me to get 1 wk break so I did but after 1 wk it still hurts. So she told me to go to the MRI. When I got the results it said “mild lateral patellar tilting and minimal joint effusion”. I went back to the doctor and she said that there is nothing wrong with me but I dont believe her bc my knee still hurts

You might have injured your medical patellar retinacula or meniscus. Or you may be having a subluxating patella. Pain and Effusion suggests the same. Share MRI films.
