Partial ACL tear

I had ruptured my ACL on June 26th and had a rest for 6 weeks and got another MRI done today but but the MRI says the same after 6 weeks of rest. Is a surgery required? Or any other alternative please do let me know thank you I am attaching both the MRI SCANS before and after

High grade partial tear is suggesting that ligament strength is likely to be subnormal leading to episodes of instability. This leads to more long term damage . U should strengthen ur hamstring muscles and undergo surgery if u have episodes of instability and or want to live an active lifestyle involving sports

Partial Acl with no instability symptoms, do try physiotherapy with knee brace.. Do not repeat MRI , as the pic not gonna change. Surgical intervention needed when there are instability symptoms . Hope this helps. Regards
