A pap smear test on a virgin lady is possible. It need not always result in damage to the hymen. Hymen can have various shapes of the opening for discharge of menstrual blood.

No papsmear  is not advisable in a virgin lady yes it can break the hymen Also this is a cancer screening test which is not required in  a girl who is not sexually active
