Pain while chewing

There's a sharp pain in my molar in the right part of the mouth whenever I chew with it. Because of this I had started to use only the left portion of my mouth while eating but my jaw hurts there too. Please let me know about a solution for this

Well pain only while chewing could be due to cavity or infection .Please  check for other symptoms like continuous pain, pain due to hot and cold stuff, then you might be needing a root canal.Eating from only one side is not advisable as it would lead to straining of the muscles of one side of the mouth due to extra load.
Next Steps
x-ray is required.

The sharp pain will most likely be due to a cavity in your right molar tooth. Using only your left side for chewing would have strained your left side joint and muscles around the lower jaw. That is probably why you have pain on the left side now.
Next Steps
visit your dentist to get your right molar checked and get the necessary treatment done. chew on both sides after that.
Health Tips
chewing on one side alone can cause multiple problems apart from the pain. get treatment as soon as possible and start chewing on both sides.
