This is due to the cervical nerve compression, generally occurs due to heavy weight lifting. The nerve compression increases with time leading to numbness /tingling /heaviness /sharp and shooting pain in the arms+elbow or even hands. It can leas to severe headache/vertigo ant inability to sleep. Sometimes pain decreases with overhead lifting of hand.. Pain in the knee and toes can occur due to other weight bearing reasons but if its associated with tingling, it can be due to nerve compression in the lower back region.
