My son was detect with phimosis 2-3 year back resulting in frequent urination feeling and going to bathroom frequently.Hence,we consulted to paediatrician in our earlier city.He advised to do exercise to pull back and forth the skin daily during bath and apply prescribed cream. My son is following that exercise regularly. From past few weeks he is having pain while doing that exercise.Even after regular exercise foreskin never get pulled back fully behind the head of penis. That prescribed cream is finished now and my son is having pain while doing that exercise. Kindly advise.

Stop doing that exercise. It may worsen the condition. Get him examined by a pediatric surgeon physically, no point in online consultation

Please do not pull back the skin forcefully. That can cause local injury which may cause the skin to become even more tight. Kindly visit a pediatric surgeon for assessment. If he is having repeated issue, he may benefit from a circumcision.
