Pain at the base of the skull

2018-10-31 08:08:58
I experience a sharp pain at the base of the skull on the right side. The pain barely lasts for a couple of seconds but it happens a few times everyday. It occurs when I move or turn my head in a certain way. It's been this way for 3-4 weeks. I have a desk job and work for 8 hours on desktop. What is causing this pain and what treatment should look for?
