Pain and some swelling
I went a k wire hand surgery,
RT hand 4th M/C #5th RAY P1# 4TH Finger injury on volar aspect.
After around 50+ days the wire are removed.
After a day when a woke up, I feel a pain in my same wrist. Where no injuries where happen.
While sleep also I made sure my hand was not in wrong position.
What can be the issue, or it a procedure of healing
Pain in the wrist may be due to muscle atrophy and joint stiffness following k wire and cast application.
Next Steps
Start physiotherapy to regain muscle and joint range of motion.
Can use warm water bags.
Use paracetamol if it is too painful.
Video consult if problem continues even after following this advice.
