Usually wisdom tooth RCT is avoided because it is placed at the very back of the dental arch , so it is difficult to operate at that area. Moreover, maintaining oral hygiene is also not easy there so even if RCT is done nicely , because of lack of hygiene maintainence tooth is bound to get infected again.

Don’t worry go for extraction,sometimes after all efforts tooth doesn’t respond to treatment.

First things first, Wisdom teeth are not anotomically or structurally like other molars in mouth, sometimes root canal structure is also not present like we can evaluate in X rays. secondly access to work at end of mouth means last tooth is very crucial factor in success of RCT in wisdom teeth. so the summary is most of the times wisdom teeth are extracted when any pain or symptoms are there, and after extraction they need not to be replaced and will not create any further damage to other teeth. lastly it is difficult to maintain hygiene in those teeth so better extract them as soon as possible.
