Dear sir I am suffering ocd doctor suggest me to to take nexito 10 mgand clonil 10 mg but clonil 10 mg create severe constipation and piles can i change clonil 10mg to clofranil 25 mg. please suggest aome advice

Better would be stop clonil/ clofranil ( both are same) and increase nexito to 15 or 20mg. Kindly consult a near by psychiatrist for the same

Hello, I understand your concern. Clonil does have this side effect of constipation. But, unfortunately, clonil and clofranil are one and the same, only from different brands. In fact, you are actually asking if you can increase the dose of the medicine that is actually causing the problem (constipation)

please do not self-medicate. consult your doctor and discuss your problem They can help you to avoid constipation by changing  the medicine and adjusting the dose
Health Tips
eat lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits, which are rich in fibre. have atleast 3-4 servings per day drink atleast 3-4 litres of water regular and moderate exercise these tips will help to relieve constipation to some extent. hope you feel better soon.
