Sir , medications wise u needs to take antidepressants (preferably) adequate dose and adequate period , ideally adequate duration for OCD is around 10 months after that we can taper and stop. And OCD definitely doesn't require life time medication it s completely curable.

trust your psychiatrist, entire process will take time. what you can do is if there is any reduction of behavior pattern regarding OCD for couple of weeks then u can request him to reduce the medicine
