NT NB scan is a screening test. It gives a percentage or probability of having a normal or abnormal baby. After this you will have a Quad Test at 18-19 weeks. That will give a better index of probability of a normal or abnormal baby. Based on the  Quad test you may be advised for NIPT or amniocentesis , or no further investigations. So it is a step by step assessment.
