Not feeling any mental emotions

I have been struggling since around 9th grade. Before that, I was focused, disciplined, and performed well academically. After a sudden decline in my studies, I never felt like I truly recovered. Since then, I feel like I am just existing rather than living. I feel emotionally numb and rarely experience happiness or other emotions. I constantly avoid important tasks and distract myself with other activities just to let time pass. I often lose track of dates and time, and sometimes everything feels unreal, almost like a dream. I was previously diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Mixed Anxiety and Depressive Disorder. At a later follow-up, ADHD was considered but not confirmed. I was prescribed Sertraline 50 mg, Inderal LA 20 mg (Propranolol), Arip MT 2 mg (Aripiprazole), and later Atomoxetine 10 mg. I stopped taking the medications because I felt they were not helping enough.

Symptoms are suggestive of chronic depression, ADHD (inattentive type), or depersonalization/derealization disorder. A comprehensive psychiatric evaluation is required to confirm the diagnosis and rule out other medical or psychiatric causes.

Needs detailed psychiatric reassessment. Consider depressive disorder with prominent emotional numbing/dissociation, while reassessing ADHD and anxiety. Rule out sleep/substance/medical contributors. Medication should be restarted or modified only after proper evaluation; assess suicidal ideation as well.
