New born 2 weeks
Hello, my new born two weeks daughter is having allergies resulting pimples on legs. Doctor has advised A- rex drop, phexin, Ambrodil drops for her. I want to have a second opinion whether these are antibiotics or are they safe to give apart from a cream has also been advised by doctor.

Phexin is antibiotic.
Little pimples are common on newborn. Unless there is secondary bacterial infection ( which I don’t know ur baby has or not) antibiotic is not necessary.
On the other hand allergy in newborn resulting in skin rash has totally different treatment.
So according to me, if u really want a second opinion visit a Pediatrician personally with ur baby.
Without examining giving opinion online is difficult in this particular scenario.

It is important to know if the baby is having pus tules or simple rash, as u have seen a pediatrition he has given u antibiotics n antiallergic drops, which means the lesions were infected.
So complete the course n follow up with ur doctor.
