You may take the following steps to manage your anxiety.
Accept It: When you are feeling nervous, remind yourself that it is natural to feel anxious. Remind yourself that in the past also you have felt nervous but you succeed in your job.
Practice More: If you practice your lessons and rehearse your speech, your anxiety levels are likely to be much lower when you are on the job. Practice makes a person perfect and a perfect person is never anxious.
Take it as a Challenge: When something makes you nervous, instead of running away from it, take the bull by horn. Face the challenge boldly as if you are fighting a battle with an enemy. Imagine the joy you would get after you defeat your enemy!!
Be Positive: You must think about winning the game rather than losing it. Positive thinking keeps your mood good and reduces your nervousness.
Try Your Best: Instead of bothering whether you would win or lose, think whether you have tried your best or not. Once you are convinced that you have tried your best, you must stop bothering about the result which is not in your hand.
Be Ready for the worst: You must evaluate what would happen if you lose in the worst case. Heaven is not going to fall and your life would go on. If you are ready for the worst, you would be much less anxious.
Accept the Destiny: I always believe that we must try our best and leave the rest to God or destiny. If things donât go our way, it may be the decision of God which may actually turn out to be better for us.
