I suggest you to kindly do icing frequently as frequent as every 2 hours once...on the painfully area.
Gently stretch neck to sideways..hold it for 30 secs.
Do circle rotations of shoulder.. gently..try large circles as possible..
Support your neck...while sleeping..sitting
Do maintain proper neck posture always...
Stretch neck flexors.. looking up to the ceiling and with neck tucked in slightly pushing the chin upwards with thumbs.... As pain permits..
Stretch your chest muscle....
Avoid carrying backpacks and lifting weights...
