Nausea and vomiting

I had an episode of nausea and vomiting early today as soon as i woke up. I have medical history of AKI due to painkillers as i am suffering from lumbar compression fracture.Last week had my kft done in which my creatinine level was 1.12. I am also hypertensive. My bp last night was 140/90. I take amlosafe 5mg for BP. After waking up my bp is 140/96mm Hg

As per your history of recent analgesic induced acute kidney injury and associated hypertension ,it would be wise to repeat the kidney function tests including potassium .Your blood pressure is above normal.Ideally you should consult with the nephrologist who is treating you.

Hi dear The creat level is quite high . The vomiting could be related to it or could be due to some other cause as well. I suggest that u repeat ur kft, serum electrolyte, cbc and uric acid and follow up with ur nephrologist as soon as possible. Please consult for further queries Take care
