Diabetics is just another metabolic disease and  just needs to be properly monitored for tighter sugar control for about 2 weeks postoperatively, so I am sure the physician colleague of your ENT Surgeon will examine your sugars and suggest changes in medication and may even temporarily give you insulins on a sliding scale during this period. Once the surgical wounds have healed(usually after 2 weeks) you will revert to your previous diabetes management regime.
