Nasal bleeding after root canal

2022-03-10 02:08:37
Hi, Got root canal procedure 1st sitting recently and experienced nasal bleeding within an hour and it continued multiple times that day and has been continuing ever since ie its on for 5th day. I did not have any such issue or condition before this procedure. Seeking suggestion on why this could have happened and what can i do to remedy this? Thanks.

It could b due to Oro antral communication due to perforation during drilling the tooth. Or may be due to  Greater palatine injection  during anesthesia of upper molars..
Next Steps
confirm the exact reason by visiting concerned Dental surgeon & get proper treatment
Health Tips
Don't delay much.. or outcome may b complicated

Hi. Have you reported this to your Dentist? Did you have any apical cyst in the tooth being treated? The injection too could have damaged a blood vessel leading to such unexplained bleeding.
Next Steps
Visit Dentist immediately
Health Tips
When bleeding occurs try to be in a sleeping position.
